Summer REading CLub

Chatham's Summer Reading Club is an opportunity for us to read and discuss a recommended book together as a church over the summer.

For 2021, we're recommending "Evangelism as Exiles: Life on Mission as Strangers in Our Own Land" by Elliot Clark. This book discusses reshaping our thinking and approach to evangelism as cultural Christianity fades. Clark encourages us through the book of 1 Peter, reminding us that "a church in exile doesn’t have to be a church in retreat."

Through June 6, you can download the ebook version for free from The Gospel Coalition. The audiobook is also available to listen to for free on Hoopla.

Discussion questions are available to download as well.

On Sunday, September 19, we'll have an opportunity to discuss the book together during our Sunday School time at 9 a.m. in the Worship Center. Everyone is welcome to join the discussion.

We hope you'll join us in reading this summer!
