We help disciples of Christ grow in their relationships with God and strengthen their ministry skills through regular times of training and prayer.

With the goal to make disciples of Jesus Christ, we want to equip Christians to love and serve others well, providing some unique opportunities to learn and grow.

Sunday School

Adult Sunday School classes start at 9 a.m. and cover a variety of topics to encourage us as Jesus’ disciples in many areas of life and service. See our adult Sunday school class options here.

EQUIP: Disciple Makers

EQUIP is a gathering of disciple makers intended to provide training, support, encouragement, resources, and time to share and pray together. Topics range from church wide to ministry specific in order to train people in ways most effective to their particular callings.

Scripture Reading

We encourage everyone to spend time in God's Word each day. For 2021, we recommend reading through the Bible using this plan from, or one of your own choosing. We also have a special Realm discussion group for those using the recommended plan.

Summer Reading Club

Chatham's Summer Reading Club is an opportunity for us to read and discuss a recommended book together as a church over the summer. Learn more and see previous book recommendations on our Summer Reading Club page.

As we come before God’s throne together, we learn to rely on His Spirit for all things. Along with Sunday morning worship, we gather for a variety of focused prayer times throughout the year.

Praying Hands Friday Morning Prayer

Join the elders in morning prayer Fridays at 7 a.m. in Learning Center room 28. Our theme this fall is intimacy with God in accordance with James 4:8, which says, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." Join us as we draw near to our Father together. These gatherings are currently scheduled through November 19.

St. Louis Area Prayer Events

We unite with other churches and Christian organizations in the St. Louis area for regional prayer events, including 10 Days of Prayer and Pray for the Lou. Watch our calendar for upcoming events.

Fervent Prayer Resources
