TRAINING & PRAYER

We help disciples of Christ grow in their relationships with God and strengthen their ministry skills through regular times of training and prayer.

Training

With the goal to make disciples of Jesus Christ, we want to equip Christians to love and serve others well, providing some unique opportunities to learn and grow.

Sunday School

Adult and kids' Sunday School classes start at 9 a.m. and cover a variety of topics to encourage us as Jesus’ disciples in many areas of life and service. See our adult Sunday school class options here.

EQUIP: Disciple Makers

EQUIP is a gathering of disciple makers intended to provide training, support, encouragement, resources, and time to share and pray together. Topics range from church wide to ministry specific in order to train people in ways most effective to their particular callings.

Family Connection

While our Wednesday night Family Connection is a kid-friendly time for families to be discipled together, anyone is welcome to attend, with or without kids. We use the New City Catechism to learn more about who God is, encouraging adults and kids alike to grow in Christ through teaching, games, prayer and worship. Family Connection starts at 7 p.m. and runs October to April.

Summer Reading Club

Chatham's Summer Reading Club is an opportunity for us to read and discuss a recommended book together as a church over the summer. Learn more and see previous book recommendations on our Summer Reading Club page.

prayer

As we come before God’s throne together, we learn to rely on His Spirit for all things. Along with Sunday morning worship, we gather for a variety of focused prayer times throughout the year.

St. Louis Area Prayer Events

We unite with other churches and Christian organizations in the St. Louis area for regional prayer events, including 10 Days of Prayer and Pray for the Lou. Watch our calendar for upcoming events.
