We help disciples of Christ grow in their relationships with God and strengthen their ministry skills through regular opportunities for training and prayer.

With the goal to make disciples of Jesus Christ, we want to equip Christians to love and serve others well, providing some unique ways to learn and grow.

Sunday School / Formation Classes

Sunday School classes for kids and Chatham Formation Classes for adults start at 9 a.m. Formation Classes cover a variety of topics to encourage us as Jesus’ disciples in many areas of life and service. This time is also utilized for ministry training opportunities. Find our current adult class listings and schedule on our Chatham Formation Classes page.

Summer Reading Club

Chatham's Summer Reading Club is an opportunity for us to read and discuss a recommended book together as a church over the summer. Learn more and see previous book recommendations on our Summer Reading Club page.

As we come before God’s throne together, we learn to rely on His Spirit for all things. Along with Sunday morning worship, we gather for a variety of focused prayer times throughout the year.

Sunday Morning Prayer
A weekly Sunday prayer gathering meets from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in room 14 off the gym. This time is dedicated to praying for Chatham's leaders and ministries, our morning worship service and other specific needs of the church. Feel free to join us in prayer for any or all of this time.

Dedicated Seasons of Prayer
We set aside dedicated times to go to the Lord in community during different seasons. This includes special prayer nights during our observation of Lent, prayer gatherings during Chatham Formation Classes and our 24-Hour Prayer Vigil on Labor Day weekend. Scheduled meeting times are available on our calendar.

St. Louis Area Prayer Events

We unite with other churches and Christian organizations in the St. Louis area for regional prayer and worship events, including Unity Sunday, Pray for the Lou, 10 Days of Prayer and other special prayer opportunities.
